COOKIE POLICY
Effective date: August 23, 2025 Last updated: August 23, 2025 Website: screenshot.browsenchat.com Controller: DevDeveloper433
This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on screenshot.browsenchat.com (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
If you have questions, contact contact.dev433@gmail.com.
1) What are cookies and similar technologies?
- Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be read by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie.
- Similar technologies include local storage, SDKs, pixels, tags, beacons, and device identifiers that perform comparable functions.
2) How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- operate and secure the Website (strictly necessary);
- remember your settings (functional);
- measure usage and improve performance (Google Analytics);
- deliver personalized or non-personalized ads (Google AdSense / DoubleClick).
Non-essential cookies (analytics/advertising) are used only after consent, where required by law.
3) Consent management (EEA/UK/CH)
Visitors from the EEA/UK/CH see a Google-certified CMP (IAB TCF) banner that:
- requests consent for analytics and personalized advertising cookies;
- allows selection of non-personalized ads or full opt-out;
- blocks non-essential scripts until a choice is made;
- lets you reopen or withdraw consent at any time via the “Consent Preferences” link in the footer.
Our CMP and, where applicable, /vendors provide the current list of ad-tech providers and purposes.
4) Categories of cookies we use
A. Strictly necessary (essential)
Required to deliver core functionality (security, load balancing, session state, consent storage). These cannot be switched off through our CMP but can be blocked in your browser (which may break the Website).
B. Functional (preferences)
Remember choices (e.g., login status with Google OAuth, UI settings). Used to improve your experience but not strictly required.
C. Performance & analytics (Google Analytics)
Help us understand how visitors use the Website (pages visited, events, aggregated metrics). We use GA4 controls to avoid logging/storing IP addresses and to limit retention in line with our purposes.
D. Advertising (Google AdSense / DoubleClick)
Used to deliver ads and measure their effectiveness. Depending on your choice, we may show personalized ads (based on your activity) or non-personalized ads (contextual, limited to basic targeting such as coarse location, content category, or device type).
5) Required AdSense disclosure
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Website and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting:
- Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
- AboutAds (NAI opt-out): https://www.aboutads.info/choices
If we use additional ad-tech partners in EEA/UK/CH, their details appear in our CMP and on /vendors.
6) Google Analytics disclosures
We use Google Analytics to measure and improve Website performance. Learn how Google collects and processes data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites To opt out of Analytics on this browser: Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on — https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
7) Managing your choices
Via our controls
- Consent Preferences (footer): open the CMP to change or withdraw consent (EEA/UK/CH) and manage non-essential cookies globally on our Website.
- US Privacy Choices (footer): “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Your Privacy Choices.” We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required; opting out will disable “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (personalized ads). You will still see non-personalized ads.
Via your browser/device
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair functionality. Mobile users can reset or limit advertising IDs in device settings (iOS/Android).
